Actress Kajol recently celebrated her mom Tanuja's birthday and shared a beautiful post on her social media. She recently took to her Instagram handle and posted an adorable picture of herself posing for the camera with the veteran actress.

While captioning the image, Kajol wrote, "'When I'm with you, I'm standing with an army.' Happy birthday to the one person who showed me all the avatars of a woman. Warrior, wife, mother, sister, woman, human and spirit! Happy birthday momma. Love you so much. Am eternally grateful that you chose me for a daughter.... always and forever. #foreveryourbaby."

Meanwhile, Kajol's sister and Tanuja's younger daughter, actress Tanishaa Mukerji, also uploaded a birthday note for her mom by posting some rare pics of the actress. She shared an album for Tanuja and wrote: "Happy birthday, my earth mother. You are mischief. You are grace. You are love. You are nature. You are soul. You are my universe. Love you mommy!

That's not all, Tanishaa even shared two throwback clicks from the 1976 Gujarati film Malavpati Munj, where Tanuja was starred opposite actor-filmmaker Upendra Trivedi. Captioning this pic Tanishaa wrote, "#happybirthdayweek #happybirthdaymommy"

 

Veteran actress Tanuja did some memorable roles in films like Haathi Mere Saathi, Bandish, Anokha Rishta, Jewel Thief, Jeene Ki Raah, Suhaagan and Swarg Narak. She is also known for working in regional movies of Gujarati, Marathi and Bengali languages.

On the work front, Tanuja was last seen in 2018's Bengali film Shonar Pahar.
