Veteran actor Randhir Kapoor turned 71 years old today and, daughters Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan hosted a grand birthday bash. The sisters threw a birthday party for their father in Mumbai. The bash was a family affair which was attended by Randhir Kapoor’s wife Babita Kapoor and daughters Karisma and Kareena. While Karisma was spotted with son Kiaan and daughter Samiera at the party, Kareena’s son Taimur Ali Khan was missing from the pictures.

Mother and veteran actress Babita Kapoor chose a black outfit for the birthday bash.

On the special occasion of Randhir Kapoor’s birthday, Karisma posted a family picture of the Kapoors, featuring her and Randhir Kapoor with Babita, Kareena and Saif Ali Khan. 

"Happy birthday, papa," Karisma captioned her post, adding hashtags like "We love you" and "family love." 

At a recent event, Randhir Kapoor talked about his grandson Taimur and said, “Certainly, it (normalcy in childhood) has been robbed. Everyday, I get up in the morning and I see a picture of my grandson in newspapers. Now everyone recognises his maid also! That’s because of the paparazzi.” 

The veteran actor was attending the Raj Kapoor Awards for Excellence in Entertainment along with his brothers Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor where he talked about the papz culture during a panel discussion.
