Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are currently basking in their newfound marital bliss after their dreamy wedding in Jodhpur. The duo has arrived in Priyanka’s city Mumbai on Wednesday, most probably to host the wedding reception there. The couple tied the knot as per Christian and Hindu rituals at Umaid Bhawan Palace on December 1 and 2. Renowned designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee shared few unseen pictures from Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ Hindu wedding. For the occasion, Priyanka and Nick, both wore custom Sabyasachi ensemble. Talking about Priyanka, she wore a custom red hand-embroidered lehenga. According to the designer, it took 3720 hours to create this masterpiece
On the other hand, Nick Jonas wore a hand-quilted silk sherwani with a hand-embroidered chikan dupatta. Both bride and the bridegroom wore Sabyasachi Heritage jewellery for their wedding.
One of the pictures that have been lately release, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are posing with the latter’s mom Denise Jonas. It was revealed that PeeCee wanted red and no other colour for her bridal attire for wedding.
Priyanka and Nick hosted their first out of three wedding receptions in New Delhi. The event was graced by none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Later, the couple thanked the PM for his precious presence and blessings at the reception.
The couple will also host two separate wedding receptions in Mumbai and Los Angeles for their industry friends.
