Kartik Aaryan has been ruling not just the hearts of fans but Bollywood box office as well with his power-packed performances. He has definitely become the first choice of filmmakers and has been loaded with films and projects. The actor was supposed to star in 2016 Kannada film Kirik Party’s Hindi remake but the latest reports suggest that the actor has walked out of the film due to creative differences. The film was originally slated to go on floors in October 2019 but the newer version of the script has been finalized now.

Going by the reports in Mumbai Mirror, “Directed by Abhishek Jain, the film was to roll last October. However, the script had to be sent back to the writing table as most people on board felt that the adaptation failed to capture the humour and charm that made the original Kannada film such a success.”

The publication quoted a source saying, “Kartik wasn’t sold on the revised screenplay. A few weeks ago, he had a meeting with the producers and expressed his doubts. Also, since he has allotted bulk dates in May to Imtiaz Ali’s Aaj Kal, the date clash was posing another problem. So, he decided to exit the project. The makers are currently scouting for a new lead.” Produced by Dheeraj Wadhwan, Ajay Kapoor, and Vrithika Laykar, Kirik Party was the first film that Kartik Aaryan announced after he rose to fame with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

Currently, Kartik Aaryan is busy shooring for Imtiaz Ali directorial Love Aaj Kal sequel with Sara Ali Khan. The actor recently wrappe the first shooting schedule of the film in Delhi and shared a video in which he was seen celebrating with director Imtiaz Ali and the crew of the film. The videos witnessed the cast and crew dancing to the songs of Saif Ali Khan starrer Love Aaj Kal. Check out-

Other than Love Aaj Kal sequel, Kartik Aaryan will also be seen in the remake of 1978 film Pati, Patni Aur Woh. The film also stars Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles and the first look of the film is already out. The film is slated to release on January 10 in 2020.
