Veteran actress Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor is all set to make her Bollywood debut alongside Ishaan Khatter with Dhadak. The trailer of the film was released recently, and it received mixed response from movie buffs. On being asked how her father Boney Kapoor’s reaction was, Janhvi, in an interview imitated him. She revealed that her dad said that she has done natural acting. While saying this she couldn’t control her laughter.
The lady also stated that a compliment from her elder brother Arjun Kapoor made her very happy. After watching the trailer, the latter told her that she has done her work with honesty.
The title track of the film was released recently, and it showcased the beautiful chemistry between the leads. Ishaan was praised for his performance in his debut film Beyond The Clouds and now it Janhvi’s turn to rule the silver screen.
Dhadak is the official Hindi remake of Marathi film Sairat. Thus, the stars also have to face the criticism and some people thought that Dhadak has spoiled the essence of the original story. However, we have to wait a little longer to see how movie buffs treat this film.
Directed by Shashank Khaitan, Dhadak is all set to hit the screens on July 20.
