In February this year, India lost its first female superstar, Sridevi. Her sudden demise sent shockwaves across the nation with fans mourning the untimely death of the talented actress. Sridevi, who left us due to 'accidental drowning' in a Dubai hotel was there to attend a family wedding.
Though she is no more, she will continue to remain alive in memories of her family and fans. Today is the 22nd wedding anniversary of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor and the doting husband took to Twitter to share a beautiful video containing memories of his late wife. It includes clips of Sridevi's moments from Mohit Marwah's wedding. In the video, we can see Sridevi hanging around with her extended family, posing for pictures with bride and groom and also shaking a leg with Anil Kapoor. Her elder daughter, Janhvi Kapoor couldn't be part of the wedding due to her Dhadak shooting schedules.
Along with the video, Boney pen down a heartfelt note. ''Today would have been our 22nd wedding anniversary. Jaan... My wife, my soulmate, the epitome of love, grace, warmth and laughter lives within me forever,'' he wrote.
On a related note, the actress was honoured with Best Actress National Award for her performance in 2017 film Mom. A report in Deccan Chronicle states that Boney Kapoor is also planning to host an exhibition of Sridevi's paintings.
