Deepika Padukone Ranveer Singh Here’s why Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are not celebrating first Holi after marriage together

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot in November last year. This Holi is the first festival they would have been celebrating together, but due to work commitment, they are in different cities. As we told on Wednesday, Deepika Padukone has started working on her next project Chhapaak with Vikrant Massey and Vikrant Massey. Recently, when the actress was asked about her first Holi plans with husband Ranveer Singh, here’s what she said:

“It's so ironic that on the day of Holi, I leave for Chhapaak; we start shooting on Monday. It is a very very important film, the story needs to be told, we start filming on Monday and on Holi day is when I leave for Delhi so no celebration, just a lot of preparation."

Hence, Deepika Padukone will be in Delhi to shoot for her next film Chhapaak while her husband Ranveer Singh is still in Mumbai. However, we’re sure that Ranveer will find an excuse to fly to Delhi and meet his lovely wife.

On Wednesday, Deepika Padukone, Vikrant Massey and Meghna Gulzar shared a series of picture from the script reading session of Chhapaak. Also seen in the frame was veteran lyricist Gulzar, who will be working closely with the team.

Chhapaak is Deepika Padukone’s first production venture. It inspired by acid attack survivor Laxmi Aggarwal’s life. In the film, DP is paired opposite Vikrant Massey for the first time.
