Deepika Padukone has been showered with pregnancy questions in just 5 months of her marriage to Ranveer Singh. Here's how she responded.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have been married for about five months now. Even before the six months to their marriage, questions regarding motherhood and planning a baby are already being thrown upon the couple. Recently. while talking to the media, Deepika Padukone opened up about the pressure of bringing a baby to this world, a woman has to deal soon after her marriage. While talking to a media publication, Deepika was asked when she was planning a baby with husband Ranveer Singh and the Padmaavat actress had the perfect response for this. 

She said, "It will happen when it has to happen. Motherhood trumps being married. That’s what I hear from people who have had children. Of course, it will happen at some point but no, I think it is unfair to put women through that, to put a couple through that. I guess the day we stop asking the questions is when we will bring about change."

Deepika Padukone tied the knot to Ranveer Singh after dating him for around 6 years. The couple met on the sets of Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram Leela and the sparks flew between them. The wedding took place at Lake Como in Italy and it was a super-secret wedding with no Bollywood celebrity being invited. 

On the work front, Deepika Padukone is keeping busy shooting for Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak. Ranveer Singh has started preparing for 83, for which he was recently in Dharamsala to train with former cricket captain Kapil Dev.
