Brotherhood is the need of the hour, says Mulk actor Rishi Kapoor

Rishi Kapoor along with the cast and crew of Mulk launched a specially conducted survey called My Mulk Survey to understand the issues faced by Muslims in India.

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor who is prepping up for his forthcoming film Mulk believes that brotherhood is the need of the hour in the society. Mulk is about a family fighting for its honour in the court of law. 

"Brotherhood is needed the most to end communal violence in India," said Rishi, who plays the head of a Muslim family in the Anubhav Sinha directorial. "If North Korea and America can solve their dispute, then why can't India and Pakistan," he asked.

Rishi along with the cast and crew of Mulk launched a specially conducted survey called My Mulk Survey to understand the issues faced by Muslims in India. Mulk, which also features actors Taapsee Pannu, Prateik Babbar, Rajat Kapoor and Neena Gupta in prominent roles is slated to release on August 3.

On a related note, Rishi Kapoor was last seen in Umesh Shukla's 102 Not Out along with Amitabh Bachchan.
