Actor Ashmit Patel, who will be seen next in Hamara Tiranga, is all set to marry his girlfriend Maheck Chahal in a lavish ceremony in London. Ashmit and Maheck who were a part of Bigg Boss 4 and BB 5 respectively, will tie the knot in August or September this year. The duo got engaged in August 2016 after dating each other for around three years. Ashmit recently revealed that he popped up the big question to Maheck in Marbella, Spain, during a recent European vacation. Confirming the same, the 39-year-old actor posted an adorable pic wherein he is seen bending down on his knee and presenting a ring to her. Maheck too posted the same picture.
Ashmit Patel and Maheck Chahal recently confirmed their marriage news to Pinkvilla during an event. The couple said they will tie the knot after getting their apartment renovated in a couple of months. "Maybe in August or September," Ashmit told the portal.
"We just recently got engaged. We have an apartment that we are renovating at this moment. It will take another four-five months, you know half of the year," Maheck said

If reports are to be believed, the lovebirds started seeing each other in 2015. The two of them even participated in another famous reality show, Power Couple. Talking about how love happened between them, the actor was quoted as saying:

“We have known each other for 12 years as friends and would meet at parties and at common friends’ get-togethers. Later, we worked out at the same gym in Bandra and would often work out together. Then one day it was raining. She didn’t have her car and I offered to drop her home. We stopped for bhutta at Carter Road and spoke for hours, from evening into the night. That’s when we discovered that we had something special. Power Couple helped us to strengthen our relationship. It showed us where we stand and made us realise that we can’t do without each other. Today, we are very sure of each other and our love.”
