Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who was last seen in Fanney Khan, is breaking the internet today. A video of the actress getting all teary-eyed while the National Anthem is being played has surfaced online and. needless to say the video has now gone viral. 

It so happened that Aishwarya was attending the IMC WE Exhibition 2018 when the National Anthem was played. Other Bollywood personalities such as Shabana Azmi and Sonu Nigam were also present at the function. 

In the video posted online by Bollywood fan accounts, Aishwarya can be seen standing for the national anthem, visibly teary-eyed. When it ends, she cries more openly. She can even be seen wiping her tears away as the others gather around her for a photograph. Aishwarya makes a heart gesture at someone off camera.

Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set to add another feather to her already loaded cap. The former Miss Universe will be conferred with the inaugural Meryl Streep Award for Excellence at the first Women in Film and Festival (WIFT) India Award.  The award ceremony, established to honour the best female talent in Bollywood and Hollywood, will take place in Washington DC on September 8.

Apart from Aishwarya, filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, who has helmed films like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Dil Dhadakne Do will receive the Wyler Award for Excellence in Direction, and Janhvi Kapoor who debuted in Shashank Khaitan's Dhadak will receive the WIFT Emerald Award.

On the work front, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in Fanney Khan. Also, she will be reportedly sharing screen space with husband Abhishek Bachchan in Anurag Kashyap’s Gulab Jamun.
