New Delhi, June 5: The athlete Milkha Singh portrayed by Farhan Akhtar has turned romantic in the new track “Mera Yaar” penned by Prasoon Joshi and sung by the Punjabi folk singer Arif Lohar

The actor could be seen wooing her lave mate Sonam Kapoor as they crash in a typical Bollywood ishtyle. Shot in a rural background both the actors don desi attires and look cute.

The song kicks off with guitar lead giving an opening to singer Arif Lohar to spell out his admiring words right on a high note. Carrying a Sufi note the song admires all beautiful ladies and considers them as Goddess as it says ‘Ishq karu ya karu Ibadat' (shall I love or praise you).

The violin added in the background gives a Rajasthani feel and finally ends with sort of qawalli.

Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's composition and Prasoon Joshi's words are magical. And with ‘Mera Yaar' and ‘Zinda' track the excitement has just got bigger.

Here is the 'Mera Yaar' number from 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag'
