New Delhi: Bahubali, the movie with a whopping budget of over Rs 250 crore, is hogging the limelight for all the wrong reasons nowadays.

Touted as the most expensive film ever made in Telugu, the movie is down with the allegations of plagiarism. Movie's publicity posters are said to be inspired from many Hollywood movies released in the past.

The first poster featuring - a child being cradled in outstretched arms in the water- bears a clear resemblance to the poster of Hollywood film `Simon Birch'. The film, directed by Mark Steven Johnson, was released in 1998.

Director S. S. Rajamouli also took some inspiration from the Indian films. One of the posters featuring lead actor Prabhas reminds of an alike-scene from a Tamil movie.

Moreover, another poster of Bahubali featuring Anushka Shetty is clearly an inspiration from another Hollywood flick `The Book of Esther'. The movie released in 2013 was directed by David A R White.

Passed by the censor board with a UA certificate, the movie is all set to be released on July 12.

However, the recently released trailer of the movie is also surrounded by the plagiarism talks. The technical aspects and some visuals of Bahubali are said to be highly inspired from the Hollywood hit `300'.

While the movie has created much hype for its eye-popping budget and superior visual effects, the plagiarism charges are seemingly degrading its credibility.
