New Delhi: The handsome hunk of Bollywood Arjun Rampal has grown immensely as an actor. Starting his career as a model, Arjun has established himself as one of the leading actors of Bollywood.

Arjun made his acting debut in Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat and had a powerful entry in Bollywood. Since the debut, he has time and again proved himself and showcased what a wonderful actor he is.

Unlike his contemporaries Arjun doesn't root for lead roles. Even if he bagged a supporting role in a movie his acting finesse left everyone spellbound. On his 43rd birthday today, we list 5 movies in which Arjun shone brighter than the lead actors.

1. Don-The Chase Begins:

This remake of the 1978 movie Don starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead was a box office success. Though, SRK as Don won many hearts, Rampal's portrayal of Jasjit did not miss limelight. In the Amitabh Bachchan starrer Pran had played the role of Jasjit. Arjun's astounding performance won him critical acclaim.

2. Ra. One:

Arjun stunned his fans with his bald look in this sci-fi movie which had Shah Rukh in the lead. Despite amazing box office collections the movie got mixed reviews. But, Arjun with his flawless acting breathed air in the second half of the movie. He was called the most interesting element of the movie and his brooding faces made him a menacing villain, which made the movie worthwhile.

Watch him emote those tough emotional moments and also as a failed person in the latter parts and you'd realize that he has only grown with the passage of time. Superb is the word!”

4. Om Shanti Om:

Before Ra. One, Om Shanti Om established that Arjun can nail villainous roles. As a cold blooded antagonist he enacted his part with panache and style. His stunning acting helped him win Zee Cine Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role for the movie.

5. Raajneeti:

This Prakash Jha movie drew parallels from Mahabharata and Arjun's character was close to Bhima. As Prithivi, Arjun's stellar performance garnered him critical acclaim. His terrific acting did not fade away in the presence of an ensemble cast including Nana Patekar, Manoj Bajpayee, Ajay Devgn and Ranbir Kapoor.
