New Delhi: Akshay Kumar and Sonaskhi Sinha's ‘Holiday- A Soldier Is Never Off Duty' is racing towards Rs 100 cr club as within just four days the flick has come closer to Rs 50 cr mark.

The strong word of mouth has turned into a massive numbers at box office and the flick has passed the crucial ‘Monday' test with flying colours garnering Rs 8.08 cr nett in India.

“Holiday Fri 12.18 cr, Sat 12.34 cr, Sun 16.80 cr, Mon 8.02 cr. Total: Rs 49.34 cr nett. India biz. All set for an impressive Rs 65 cr Week 1”, tweets trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh.

According to a statement issued by Reliance entertainment, the flick was made at a budget of Rs 115 cr and if trade analysts are to be believed then it has carry on the similar momentum in weekdays to recover the substantial investment amount.

However if compared to earlier biggies this year namely Jai Ho, Gunday and 2 States, the flick is performing brilliant and has left behind Alia Bhatt-Arjun Kapoor starrer whose four days collection stands at Rs 44.23 cr nett in India.

The other release and critically acclaimed flick ‘Filmistaan' too is capitalizing over positive word mouth and its success could be adjudged from the fact that its Monday collection is better than the opening day record.

“Filmistaan is better on Mon than Fri. Fri 51 lacs, Sat 1.04 cr, Sun 1.26 cr, Mon 54.1 lacs. Total: Rs 3.35 cr nett. India biz. ROCK-STEADY!”, confirmed Adarsh via twitter.

Big question still arises that will Akshay-Sonakshi starrer will give Bollywood another Rs 100 flick after Rowdy Rahore? Well we are keeping a watch on that.
