Watch 'Dhoom 3' in your own budget: Aamir Khan (see pics)

Mumbai: Actor Aamir Khan is worried about reports that the ticket rates for his film "Dhoom 3", releasing Friday, have been increased. He says it's a "misconception" and that he wants all audiences to watch

The actor, who plays an antagonist in the movie, has urged the media to avoid "spreading this word".

"I want everyone to watch this film in their own budget. In Mumbai, there is a theater like Gaiety Galaxy where you get to see the film in Rs.70.

"The ticket price for 'Dhoom 3' is exactly like that of 'Chennai Express'. It's the same rate and in no theatres the ticket rate has been increased. I want to clarify this. There is not even one percent of increase in the ticket price," Aamir said.

However, he pointed out that "Dhoom 3" is the first Bollywood film to be released in the IMAX format, a specialised film format. And ticket rates at IMAX theatres are usually higher as compared to other theatres.
