2 States movie review: Watch it, not just once, but twice

2 States is a classic example of the problems evoking prior the marital life of a couple from two different cultures. Abhishek Verman deserves applause for understanding the usual yet non-described feelings and mindsets of

Yet the sensitivity, which Abhishek carries while presenting the two different states is admirable. The chemistry he brings out from the lead in catchy. Alia and Arjun aren't just wild a couple as portrayed in most of the promotions but it's their understanding which fetches our focus.

Among the two, it's Arjun's performance which surprises us in a big way. He isn't same aggressive actor whom we have seen in his earlier flicks but is feasibly calm, composed and shows a lot of patience in his act.

Alia is once again brilliant in her act. She carries the emotions with ease and her expression speaks louder than her words.

We must say that the supporting cast is the backbone of this flick. Amrita Sigh is brilliant as a chirpy mother. Ronit Roy, who is a strict father of Arjun Kapoor, once again shows self-control in his act.

Shiv Kumar Subramaniam and Revathy bring out a good father-mother performance.

Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's music is delightful. While all the songs look beautiful onscreen, the background score touches your heart with each scene.

I'll go with three and a half stars for ‘2 States'. Like it's about two dissimilar families I would recommend you to watch this flick twice. First with friends while the other time with your family!
