WWC 2017: India lost but Big B and Akshay have a message for Women in Blue

Actors Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar have some sweet messages for Women in Blue.

India lost the finals of Women’s World Cup 2017 disappointing millions of cricket fans but actors Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar has a sweet message for women in blue. The whole country along with celebrities and common men cheered the players but their defeat didn’t stop them from appreciating their hard work. Big B told ladies that people only know the joy of victory after they get defeated whereas Khiladi Kumar also said that he is proud of the team.

Big B took to micro-blogging site Twitter and tweeted, “T 2494 - Until you loose, you shall never know the joy of victory ! Well played ladies .. Bhartiya Nari Zindabad !! WWC17.”

Akshay also posted a picture with and wrote, “Even Broken Hearts Can Laugh!!These Women have started a revolution & I couldn't be more proud #WWC17Final.”

Along with B-town stars, cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Hardik Pandya and Anil Kumble also praised the team.

Sachin tweeted, “Feel for all of you, #WomenInBlue! You were good throughout but sometimes it is not meant to be. Congrats England on winning #WWC17Final!”

 

The England Women Cricket team scored 228 and Indian team shattered at 219.
