After a long wait, John Abraham has finally released the trailer of his upcoming film Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran, which is based on nuclear tests conducted by India 20 years ago at Pokhran. Makers decided to drop the trailer of their film on May 11 to mark the historic date when India conducted its first set of nuclear tests. 

The story dates back to 1998 when six Army officers were ordered to carry out a highly-secretive operation away from the prying eyes of CIA's satellites. The film is about how these Army officers conduct this nuclear testing mission as officials of Archeological Survey of India. The world is left in shock after India's successful completion of the operation. The trailer is interesting with intriguing background score. Parmanu, which stars John Abraham, Diana Penty and Boman Irani in pivotal roles promises a riveting tale of patriotism and heroism. Watch the trailer below:

 

Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran has been pushed a couple of times. The film which was earlier supposed to release in December 2017 later got embroiled in a legal controversy between producers JA Entertainment and KriArj Entertainment. The movie directed by Abhishek Sharma has been bankrolled by Zee Studios, Kyta Productions and JA Entertainment. The flick is slated to release on May 25.
