Tiger Zinda Hai: Salman Khan’s film lights up the box office

Superstar Salman Khan’s latest release Tiger Zinda Hai is doing wonderful business at the box office. The movie has earned Rs 190.62 cr till now and these figures are expected to rise in coming days. This is the superstar’s 12th consecutive Rs 100-crore film and it seems that Bhaijaan’s fans have given him the birthday gift. It won’t be wrong to say that Salman has given the perfect ending to this year.

As far as box office collections are concerned, the year has not been great for Bollywood movies. Post Diwali, Ajay Devgn and Parineeti Chopra starrer Golmaal Again became the top grosser of 2017 and collected Rs 205 crore. It goes without saying that Salman’s film is set to break its record in future.

The worldwide collection of the film has reached Rs 225 cr. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie collected Rs 34.10 cr on Friday. Rs 35.30 cr and Rs 45.53 cr on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

The movie featured the hit jodi of Salman and Katrina after a long gap. Tiger Zinda Hai is the sequel to 2012 film Ek Tha Tiger. The sequel is all set to cross the lifetime collection of the prequel (198.78 cr) in coming days.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film has definitely set high standards for all the upcoming releases.
