New Delhi: Comedian Tanmay Bhat sparked up a controversy recently after he released a video face-swapping legends like Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar.

The video has been termed as ‘insulting’ and ‘offensive’ towards the legends as Tanmay is seen using vulgar words in it.

As expected, it did not take long for the video to become talk of town with Tanmay on the receiving end from most quarters. Several politicians and celebs criticised the AIB member and lashed out at him for the controversial video. The ordeal, however, appears far from over with the controversy beginning to take a toll on Tanmay Bhat’s career

In the latest development, Tanmay’s song has reportedly been dropped from the upcoming film ‘Shorgul’.

The AIB member is said to have penned a song called ‘Pehle Aap’ for the movie starring Jimmy Shergill. However, after this recent controversy, the makers have allegedly deleted the song.

Aman Singh, co-producer of ‘Shorgul’, has reportedly admitted that the team has dropped the song because of Tanmay’s recent controversy related to Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar.

Looks like Tanmay Bhat has invited a big trouble for himself.
