‘Sonu Moge wala’: ‘Dabangg’ actor planning to adopt this village in Punjab

Sonu Sood is reportedly planning to adopt a village named Bahona in his home state Punjab.

Sonu Sood is reportedly planning to adopt a village in his home state Punjab.

The actor, who is deeply connected to his roots, will soon take the responsibility of Bahona, a village in the state.

As per a report published by a leading daily, Sonu has been working on ideas to make Bahona a better place to live.  The village has reportedly witnessed a large number of water-borne diseases owing to shortage of sanitation facilities, hygiene and clean drinking water.

Thus, “Sonu has initiated the process to provide water purifiers to families that can't afford it," a source told the daily.

Interestingly, Sonu Sood, who belongs from Moga in Punjab, is quite attached to the people of his hometown. The actor has been doing whatever he can for the betterment of the folks living in there.

He is providing free gym facilities in the city to promote fitness in the city. He even distributed free cycles to his gym members so that they can conveniently travel and workout daily.

Indeed, Sonu is doing a wonderful job.

On professional front, Sonu’s last Hindi film was Gabbar Is Back (2015) and Happy New Year (2014)

Now, he will be next seen in the movie Kung Fu Yoga. This action-adventure comedy film will feature Hollywood superstar Jackie Chan.

The movie will be released in two languages – Hindi and Mandarin. It is currently in post production stage and is expected to hit the screens early next year.
