Exact 10 days back, India’s first female superstar Sridevi left the world and her tragic and untimely demise has shocked and saddened the entire nation. Since 24th February, her immediate family members have been inconsolable.

Today is Sridevi’s elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor's birthday and to mark this special day, Janhvi’s cousin Sonam Kapoor posted a picture of the upcoming actress and said: "To one of the strongest girls I know, who became a woman today. Happy birthday, jannu."

Not only Sonam, but designer Manish Malhotra also shared a picture of him, Sridevi and Janhvi and wrote: "Happy Birthday, my dearest Janhvi. May God bless you with happiness, love, peace and just everything."

Talking about Janhvi's birthday plans, a leading website quoted a source who said: "Sridevi had a few plans for Janhvi and she had discussed with Boney. Nobody knew something so unfortunate will happen before that. Despite this great loss, Boney Kapoor plans to celebrate Janhvi's birthday with the entire family being by her side. It will be a tough one for the young girl."

“Boney Kapoor and the family do not want anyone to give any condolences on Janhvi's birthday and they want it to be a happy day. In fact, Arjun Kapoor's sister Anshula Kapoor too will be a part of this celebration. Anshula, who is currently with Arjun in Punjab, where the actor is shooting for Namaste England, will be specially flying down to be with the family. Her tickets have been booked and all the arrangements for the dinner are being made,” the source added.

A few days back, Janhvi penned a heart-wrenching post for her dearest mumma and posted on Instagram. In her statement, Janhvi remembers her mother and how she was all that Janhvi ever needed. The young girl goes on to recall how she'd do everything with the hope to make her mother proud and now that she is gone, she promises to wake up every morning with the same thought, to make Sridevi as proud of her as she is of her mother. She ended the letter with: " I love you, my everything."

On the professional front, Janhvi Kapoor will soon make her Bollywood debut in Dhadak opposite Ishaan Khatter. The film is produced by Karan Johar and directed by Shashank Khaitan.
