Shhuddhi is one of the anticipated films of the year. The movie was in the news for many cast reshuffles and it was also being said that the film was shelved. But, now Agneepath director Karan Malhotra has confirmed in his tweet that Shuddhi will happen at the right time.
Karan, who has also directed Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra starrer Brothers, answered a fan’s question regarding Shhuddhi. He tweeted, “SHHUDDHI will happen!!! At the right time, with the right people and the right environment! I believe in the synchronicity of the Universe!!”
The movie was in the limelight because of its cast. First actors Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor were signed to play the lead in the film. After they backed out, Salman Khan came on board. But, even it didn’t work out.

Later, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt’s name also came for the leads. But, no news came after that.

Now, with Karan’s tweet, it is confirmed that the film is not shelved. But, it is yet to be seen how long will people have to wait for it. The lead actors of the film are yet to be finalised.
