Jab We Met to Udta Punjab: Here’s what Shahid and Kareena said when asked about not doing movies together

Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor are coming together after nine years in the movie Udta Punjab.

New Delhi: Once upon a time Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor were the hot favorite love birds of B-town. They dated for three good years before parting ways in 2007 and now in 2006 both of them are living a happy married life with their respective partners.

But, after nine years, viewers are going to see them together again on the silver screen in the upcoming movie ‘Udta Punjab’, which also stars Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh.

Though, they are not paired opposite each other, neither they will share screen together, but the movie promotion is something which made them share the stage together. And the excitement level among fans is quite high to see their favourite stars together.

On the trailer launch, Shahid and Kareena were asked if they were disappointed that they won’t be seen together in the movie. To this question, the ex-love birds gave a smart reply together. Here’s what they said.

Shahid: You are asking if we are happy or not on something that has already been done before.

Well! If it was not enough the media persons even asked them about Jab We Met sequel. And once again the duo nailed it with their response.

Kareena: "That Imtiaz Ali (director of “Jab We Met”) will say na, Shahid."

Shahid: "If it was to happen then it would have happened earlier. I think Imtiaz Ali has moved on."
