New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh Government today declared Aishwarya Rai Bachchan & Randeep Hooda starrer 'Sarbjit' tax-free, days before its release.

Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav announced that the decision will be implemented with immediate effect, starting from the release date on May 20.

Directed by Omung Kumar, ‘Sarbjit’ is the story of a Indian farmer who accidently wandered into Pakistan territory and got imprisoned.

Aishwarya Rai, who turned heads with her appearance at Cannes, is playing Sarbjit’s sister Dalbir Kaur in the movie. The flick revolves around her struggle of proving his brother innocent.  

‘Sarbjit’ is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Bhushan Kumar, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Sandeep Singh, Jackky Bhagnani and Krishan Kumar. It will hit the screens on May 20.
