Mumbai: Actress Radhika Apte, who is awaiting release of “Phobia”, will be walking into the small screen world as a host of TV show “Crime Patrol” for a special episode.

The actress has become part of the Sony Entertainment Television show to promote her film “Phobia”. She shot for the episode on Wednesday, read a statement.

“Radhika will be seen shooting for 'Crime Patrol'. She will be seen hosting the show solo. This will be a special episode where she will be seen promoting her movie 'Phobia'," said a source.

Directed by Pawan Kriplani, “Phobia” narrates the story of a girl who is scared to leave her house. The trailer leaves one thinking that the girl is living in a delusion that she will be harmed if she leaves her residence.

Produced by Eros International and Next Gen Films, “Phobia” is slated for May 27 release.

Apart from “Phobia”, Radhika is busy with short films like “Kriti” and “Oysters”. She is also working in Guneet Monga's upcoming project "The Ashram", which also stars Indo-American actor Kal Penn. And then there is Rajinikanth's upcoming Tamil gangster drama "Kabali".
