The director proved that ‘content is king’ with her sensitive story telling tugs at your heart. Sehmat played by Alia Bhatt, is convincing as a vulnerable youngster who suddenly finds herself torn between the love for her country and love for her husband.

Raazi features Alia Bhatt in the role of Kashmiri girl Sehmat who is married off to Pakistani army officer to spy for her nation. Vicky Kaushal plays her reel husband and real life mother Soni Razdan plays Alia's reel mom for the big screen adaptation of Harinder Sikka's novel 'Calling Sehmat'.
