Raazi: Alia Bhatt as Sehmat looks impressive in this teaser, trailer to be out soon

Alia Bhatt plays a Kashmiri spy who marries a Pakistani Army officer Vicky Kaushal in Raazi.

Alia Bhatt who is gearing up for her upcoming Meghna Gulzar film Raazi, shared a teaser video on social media. The Badrinath Ki Dulhania actress plays a Kashmiri spy who marries a Pakistani Army officer Vicky Kaushal in the film. 

Taking to her Twitter account, Alia shared the Raazi teaser with a caption that read, “Parso milte hain.. subah! Main #RAAZI hoon.. @meghnagulzar @vickykaushal09 @karanjohar @DharmaMovies @JungleePictures @apoorvamehta18 @Soni_Razdan”

Meghna Gulzar also shared the teaser on Twitter and wrote, “We are upto something…#raazi @JungleePictures @DharmaMovies @aliaa08 @vickykaushal09 @karanjohar @apoorvamehta18 @ShankarEhsanLoy.”

Raazi is a thriller based on Harinder Sikka’s novel ‘Calling Sehmat’. Vicky Kaushal will also be seen opposite Alia Bhatt in an important role. It is a story of a Kashmiri girl who gets married to a Pakistani officer and spies for Indian intelligence agency. Raazi’s shooting has taken place in various places across the country. Alia Bhatt kept sharing the picturesque beauty of Kashmir and the pictures from the shoot on her social media. 

Co-produced by Dharma Productions, Raazi also stars the Masaan fame Vicky Kaushal in the role of Alia’s Pakistani army husband. In an earlier picture released by the film’s team, fans were given a closer look at Alia and Vicky’s characters. Raazi is scheduled to hit the theatres on May 11.

It will be the first time that Alia Bhatt is sharing screen space with Masaan actor. Meghna Gulzar, on the other hand, has directed critically-acclaimed film Talvar in 2015. She is the daughter of veteran lyricist and filmmaker Gulzar and actress Rakhee. Raazi is being produced by Karan Johar.
