In the wake of the spillover that recent tensions between India and Pakistan have had on tinsel town, veteran actor Paresh Rawal says terrorists have "claimed" the "solidarity" of the Hindi film industry.

"Terrorists have claimed one more life... Of solidarity of Indian film industry," Paresh tweeted on Friday night.

The 66-year-old actor added: "Pakistani artistes got their money and travelled club class and safely went back home... And we punish our own producers for no fault of theirs. Think."

Paresh's comments come after the Cinema Owners and Exhibitors Association of India (COEAI) on Friday announced that movies featuring Pakistani actors -- starting with "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" -- won't be screened in single screen theatres in India, including Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat.

The decision of the COEAI, which consists of 400 members, came two weeks ahead of the release of "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil", which stars Pakistani actor Fawad Khan along with Indian actors Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
