Nawazuddin’s film Monsoon Shootout was premiered at Cannes four years ago. The film also received rave reviews of audiences. And finally, the film is all set hit theatres soon.
The releasing date of film was announced recently, and it is scheduled to release on December 15. Earlier, the film was slated to release along with Tiger Zinda Hai. But to avoid clash with Salman Khan’s film, Nawaz’s film has been postponed to December 15.
The teaser of Nawaz’s film showcases him in a dark and gritty avatar. Monsoon Shootout is helmed by Amit Kumar and also features Vijay Varma, Geetanjali Thapa, Neeraj Kabi, and Sreejita De in pivotal roles. The teaser of Monsoon Shootout is filled with lots of violence and fights, which matches the title of the film.
Speaking about his film Nawazuddin had earlier said, "For almost a year we were traveling across festivals with the film and then we wanted to wait and release the film when we felt the time was right. We had a successful release of Haraamkhor earlier this year and 2017 has proven to be a year when good content films were being accepted. So we feel now is the best time to release the film."
