Abhishek Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu starrer Manmarziyaan might have impressed the critics with brilliant performances, the flick failed to pour in numbers. After the trailer release, it was expected that the film will do wonders on the box office considering a huge buzz around the trailer but even on Day 4, Manmarziyaan remains on the lower side and earned Rs 2.10 Cr. After this, the film's total stands at Rs 16.43 Cr.
Bollywood critic and Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to his social media to share the latest box office numbers of the film and wrote, “#Manmarziyaan remains on the lower side on Day 4 [Mon]… Fri 3.52 cr, Sat 5.11 cr, Sun 5.70 cr, Mon 2.10 cr. Total: ₹ 16.43 cr. India biz.”
Directed by Anurag Kashyap, and produced by Aanand L Rai, the film shares a story of love triangle between Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu and Abhishek Bachchan, where everything is complicated because of the people! Taapsee Pannu, who is portraying the role of a rebel girl in love, Rumi, falls for a commitment phobic boy Vicky, played by none other than Vicky Kaushal.
It marks Abhishek's comeback on silver screen after a two-year hiatus as he was last seen in the 2016 rom-com 'Housefull 3'. In this film, Abhishek Bachchan is seen sporting a turban and a beard. He is playing the character of Robbie in the film.
