Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan who turned 36 yesterday had a ball of a time with close friends and family. The intimate affair was attended by near and dear one of the pregnant star, except one of her best friends. The party was no attended by Kareena’s best friend Tusshar Kapoor and seems all is not well between them.
Kareena and Tusshar, both of whom belong to established families of Bollywood, have been on great terms since childhood. However, reports have it that Kareena and Tusshar may have had a fall out and ‘Veere Di Wedding’ could be the reason.
A report in a leading daily suggested that since Tusshar’s sister Ekta Kapoor has backed out of Kareena’s ‘Veere Di Wedding’, the actress is not much pleased. Ekta’s Balaji Motion Pictures pulled out of ‘Veere Di Wedding’ as they are restructuring the company. Also, the recent flops like ‘A Flying Jatt’ have made the company ponder over the movie’s business leg of the company.
All this factors have reportedly combined to the fall out between Kareena and Tusshar. In fact, Kareena did not extend an invitation to her ‘Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai’ co-star, despite Tushar being in the town. Tushar was travelling but returned to home yesterday morning. He had apparently sent best wishes to Bebo last week itself.
Kareena’s birthday bash saw sister Karisma Kapoor, cousins Ranbir Kapoor, Armaan and Aadar Jain, parents Randhir and Babita Kapoor in attendance. The party was joined by actress Sonam Kapoor, her sister Rhea Kapoor (director of ‘Veere Di Wedding’) and Arjun Kapoor (her ‘Ki&Ka’ co-star). Sisters Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora too graced the occasion. Apparently, it was only Tusshar who had no idea about a party being hosted by Kareena.
