Finally some good news to start off the day especially for Kapil Sharma fans. Upasana Singh fondly known as Bua of Comedy Nights with Kapil, is making her entry into The Kapil Sharma Show (TKSS).

With the absence of popular characters such as Mashoor Gulati aka Sunil Grover, Chaiwalla aka Chandan Prabhakar and Pushpa Nani aka Ali Asgar, Kapil’s show needed some solid characters.

Now that Upasana Singh has joined the team, the TV actress is hopeful that she can do justice to her role and TKSS as a whole.

However, Upasana isn’t happy about the Kapil Sharma Vs Sunil Grover battle and wants the duo to patch up at the earliest.

Speaking to a leading daily, Upasana said, “Of course, I am missing them (Sunil, Ali, Chandan) on the set. We worked together for years so, it’s natural that I am missing all three of them. I don’t know how big the fight was (between Kapil and Sunil) but I think, he will come back soon. I am hopeful things will be sorted soon and he will return.”

The much-loved Bua will be playing an entirely new character in TKSS and, is extremely excited about her new innings.

“I am not playing Bua this time. I am some other relative of Kapil. My story is such that I am a tall woman married to a short man. My husband is being played by Paresh Ganatra (of Chidiya Ghar fame). There’s also another character – a man who is in love with me. I am excited about the new innings,” she said.

Apart from The Kapil Sharma Show, Upasana Singh is also hosting Nach Baliye 8, alongside TV actor Karan Tacker.

The actress will also be seen on the big screen in David Dhawan’s Judwaa 2.

“I am excited that I am getting to work with David ji again. I have worked with him in many comedies like Loafer, and Mr and Mrs Khiladi. In Judwaa 2 also, I have a great character. He is a lovely director to work with. He lets you improvise on your role and doesn’t force you to stick to the script. He tells you to add your own bits”, Upasana said.
