Kapil Sharma’s fees for TKSS cut owing to poor ratings, say sources

Troubles don’t seem to end for Kapil Sharma especiially after his big fight with Sunil Grover. The comedy king who once slayed Indian comedy TV, is in the news for all the wrong reasons. Latest buzz is that the popularity of The Kapil Sharma Show (TKSS) is decreasing day-by-day, which has resulted in poor ratings. Hence, Kapil’s fees has been cut by half, reveals sources. 

Due to lack of good ratings following the exit of Sunil Grover aka Dr Mashoor Gulati and Ali Asgar aka Pushpa Nani from TKSS, the ace comedian has taken a cut in his remuneration. Kapil Sharma and Sony TV have mutually decided to renegotiate his payments, which has been cut by almost half now, according to a DNA source.

Meanwhile, Sunil who recently entertained everyone as Dr Mashoor Gulati on a special show Super Night With Tubelight, was rumoured to team up with Kapil’s rival Krushna Abhishek for a show titled Comedy Company.  However, later it was said that Grover was not going to be a part of the show and will only be seen in a guest appearance. The former stars of Kapil Sharma’s show Ali Asgar, Sugandha Mishra and Chandan Prabhakar will be seen on Krushna’s show.
