I can't ignore my health: Kapil Sharma confirms taking a break from TV

Comedian Kapil Sharma has decided to take a break from TV owing to his ill health.

After Sony TV confirmed the news of The Kapil Sharma Show going off air, comedian Kapil Sharma has reacted on it saying that he is taking a break from small screen owing to his health issues. This is known to all that the comedian’s health is deteriorating with each passing day and that is affecting his professional life as well. Lately, Baadshaho star cast left TKSS sets without shooting the episode as Kapil didn’t show up.

Confirming his break from the small screen, Kapil revealed to an entertainment portal that he is taking rest for few days as he can’t ignore his health. He added that his schedule is going to be hectic in the coming time as upcoming film Firangi is scheduled for a release. The actor thanked the channel for not pressurising him and added that he will return with full force.

He said, “I cannot ignore my health at this stage when my movie is also going to release and the coming schedule is going to be more hectic.”

The official spokesperson of Sony TV in a statement said that Kapil’s heath was not good and once he recovers completely, the shooting of the show will start again.

 

Ever since Kapil’s former co-star Sunil Grover left TKSS, the show was struggling to get good TRPs. Later, the show suffered due to the comedian’s bad health as he was not able to shoot some episodes.
