New Delhi: Hrithik Roshan has been on the toes these days. His ugly legal spat with Kangana Ranaut has been the talk of the town since a while.

But apart from this legal scuffle, there is something else as well that is keeping Duggu busy.

We are talking about his upcoming movie ‘Mohenjo Daro’ which is being directed by Ashutosh Gowariker.

The movie has bagged a lot of attention since its inception because of its unique concept. ‘Mohenjo Daro’ is based on the ancient city of Mohenjo-daro in the era of the Indus Valley civilization that dates back to 2600 BC.

Now this periodical drama is again creating a lot of buzz but this time for an entirely different reason.

According to the media reports, ‘Mohenjo Daro’ will be the shortest movie ever made by Gowariker.

Reportedly, the length of the movie is said to be only a good 150 minutes (2 hours 30 min).

Taking a look at his previous movies, most of his earlier films including Lagaan (3 hours 54 minutes), Swades (3 hours 30 minutes), Jodha Akbar (3 hours 34 minutes),  and What's Your Raashee (3 hours 33 minutes) went above the 3 hour mark.

But with ‘Mohenjo Daro’ lasting for just 2 hours and 30 minutes, Ashutosh is quite thrilled about it.

In fact, as per the gossip mongers, Ashutosh had set his mind on the 2 hour cut and apparently is making the edits accordingly.

‘Mohenjo Daro’ also starring Pooja Hegde opposite Hrithik Roshan, will hit the screens on August 12.
