cFirst song of forthcoming movie Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga starring Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla is out and it is nothing less than a magical tribute to legendary music composer RD Burman. The song is a recreation of evergreen love song from which the film draws its title 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga'. Vidhu Vinod Chopra was the director of 1942: A Love Story starring Anil Kapoor and Manisha Koirala. Co-incidentally, both the movies have been produced by Chopra.
Who can forget Anil Kapoor dancing and singing, all lost after falling in love with a girl? Those mustard fields, flowing dupattas, silence romance are back. The song is undoubtedly a nostalgia trip but old is gold. The latest track has been composed by Rochak Kohli and crooned by Darshan Raval and Rochak Kohli. Lyrics have been penned by Gurpreet Saini. In the video, one can see Rajkummar falling for Sonam's innocence and simplicity. His eyes are speaking more than him and that's what exactly happens when in love. Here is the link of the song.
The original song composed by RD Burman was sung by Kumar Sanu and lyrics were by Javed Akhtar.
The movie has the tagline which says, ''The most unexpected romance of the year''. It is the first mainstream commercial Bollywood film which will talk about same-sex love. Regina Cassandra, a South Indian actress will be playing Sonam's love interest in the film. Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga has been directed by debutante Shelly Chopra Dhar and will release on February 1.
