After a gap of 15 years, Nagarjuna will be featuring in Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. His last Bollywood film was LOC Kargil.

Brahmastra is going to be one-loaded film of Bollywood and the stellar ensemble of star cast is a testimony to it. The film is totally living up to its name which means weapon possessing supernatural powers. Can’t say about the supernatural power, but the Ayan Mukerji film certainly boasts of the super-phenomenal star cast. It has Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and also Mouni Roy in important roles. Telugu superstar Nagarjuna joining the team is the cherry on top of the cake.

Nagarjuna becomes the latest to join the Brahmastra clan. It is his first Bollywodo movie after a hiatus of 15 years from the Hindi film industry. He kickstarted the shooting of the film in Bulgaria with Alia and Ranbir.

Karan Johar, who’s bankrolling Ayan’s ambitious project, shared a picture of Nagarjuna with wife Amala Akkineni and Ranbir, Alia along with them.

He posted the picture with a caption, “We are honoured and exceptionally excited to have the one and only @iamnagarjuna doing an extremely “special” role in our film #BRAHMASTRA !! Directed by Ayan Mukerji @SrBachchan @aliaa08 #RanbirKapoor ...thank you sir for your love and your beautiful energy!"

Talking about Brahmastra, it is a supernatural trilogy based on a romantic fairytale. It is being helmed by Ayan Mukerji. It is expected to hit the screens on August 15, 2019. The trilogy is going to span over the next ten years, as revealed by lead actor Ranbir Kapoor.

Ranbir also revealed that as soon as Brahmastra gets released, the team will get back to work on the second part of the franchise. However, director Ayan Mukerji has spared the actor some time to shoot for two films between two parts.
