Shriman Shrimati another Hindi sitcom was telecasted during the year 1995. The show was all about two neighbourhood families where Keshav Kulkarni, married to Kokila, was tempted towards his neighbour Prema Shalini. On the other side  Dilruba, Husband of Prema, was tempted towards Kokila’s wife of Keshav. Both the husbands tried every possible way to flirt with each other wives, but unfortunately ended up in failure.

The 1993 sitcom was an Indian version of British comedy show ''Mind Your Language". Two seasons show revolved around an Engineer Mohan Bharati who was forced to teach Hindi language in a school. The story was all about having troubles in translation as well as hatred towards the job.

The 2005 Star One sitcom was recognized as the best TRP gainer as well as most entertaining show among viewers. The revolved around a rich and urban Sarabhai family. The story depicted the issues in between mother and her daughter in law which were never ending.

Jaspal Bhatti's Ulta Pulta was one of the popular sitcom that firstly went on air on Doordarshan. It was directed and acted by  Jaspal Bhatti. The story revolves around small issues which a common man face in his/her daily life routine.
