The tension between India and Pakistan has escalated to an altogether new level after the Uri attacks. The heat of the fire has also reached the Bollywood where #BanPakArtist propaganda has taken a big shape.

The B-town seems to be divided over the issue, with stars talking for and against the issue. But actor Ranbir Kapoor has won hearts with his sweet response over the raging issue.

The Kapoor scion, when asked to comment over the controversy, said that he wants the people of Pakistan to remain sweet and beautiful no matter what the world think about their country.

"I want you guys to stay sweet, gentle, amazing and beautiful. Because even though the world may think that it’s a shitty place to live in, it is beautiful. You guys are the force. And the force is going to be with you, forever," an entertainment reported quoting Ranbir Kapoor.

He also added that citizens of India and Pakistan should hug each other to spread the message of love and peace.

This statement from the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ star has received response from the Pakistani actress and self acclaimed fan of Ranbir Kapoor -  Mawra Hocane. She is thrilled over RK’s comment and has even responded to him on Twitter.

She tweeted, "Yes, hugs, please!"

Aww! That’s really cute!

Interestingly, while Ranbir’s statement has won hearts the director of his upcoming movie ‘Áe Dil Hai Mushkil’ has been facing flak from the netizens for supporting the Pakistani artist. The other actors facing the burn for backing artists from neighbour country include Om Puri and Salman Khan as well.
