Actress Anushka Sharma received positive reviews for her latest release Pari. She played the role of a woman possessed by an evil spirit. Now, if latest reports are to be believed, the horror drama will be remade in Tamil. According to a source, the producers have loved the film and the announcement regarding the Tamil remake will be made soon. It is indeed good news for Anushka.
A source close to the development said, “Quality horror stories work in this market and the producers here have loved Pari. The offer on the table is a big one too and only adds to the revenue of Pari. An announcement is expected to happen as soon as the deal is locked. It is a huge success for Anushka.”
The actress never shies away from experimenting. She has proved her versatility with many films. Pari was Anushka’s first release after marriage and her third film as a producer. Clean State Films has earlier bankrolled NH10 and Phillauri.
On a related note, the actress is currently occupied with the work of Varun Dhawan starrer Sui Dhaaga. She will also be seen in Anand L Rai’s Zero alongside Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan. Anushka was last seen in Jab Harry Met Sejal.
