Abhishek Bachchan, who impressed fans with his recent release Manmarziyaan, will next be seen pairing up with his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Gulab Jamun. With this Anurag Kashyap directorial venture, Abhishek and Aishwarya will reunite on-screen after eight long years. Aishwarya and Abhishek were last seen together in Mani Ratnam’s Raavan.
Talking about Aishwarya starrer next project Gulab Jamun, in an interview with indianexpress.com, Abhishek said, ‘’I look forward to it. When we are going to do it, we haven’t decided yet. It’s called Gulab Jamun. It’s a beautiful script, a very sensitive script, written by first time director called Sarvesh Mewara. When it is going to start, we haven’t decided but we look forward to doing it.”
Further Abhishek talking about daughter Aaradhya’s reaction on seeing her mom and dad together on-screen, Abhishek said, “She will be fine. She has not seen our films. She has seen the odd song here and there. She is too young, she is only six.”
After 2016 multi-starrer film Housefull 3, Abhishek made a comeback on silver screen with Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal starrer Manmarziyaan. Meanwhile, Aishwarya’s last outing was Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer Fanney Khan. She is said to be seen in Woh Kaun Thi and Raat Aur Din remake.
