After 72-hour ban, Yogi Adityanath to address 4 rallies in UP today

The Election Commission of India (ECI) had barred Yogi Adityanath from addressing rallies or taking part in the poll campaign for 72 hours for violation of Model Code of Conduct. The CM was penalised for his ‘Ali’ and ‘Bajrangbali’ statement in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will address four rallies in central Uttar Pradesh on Friday.

After being restrained from campaigning for 72 hours by the Election Commission for violation of Model Code of Conduct, the CM will start campaigning by addressing rallies today.

Yogi’s first rally would be at Kaila Devi Temple grounds in Asmauli area of Sambhal district at 11 am. This will be followed by a rally at JL Inter College grounds at Sirsaganj in Firozabad. The third rally will be at Ramlila Grounds in Etawah. The fourth rally on Friday will be at Junior High School grounds in Mishrikh.

Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan, who was also banned by the EC, will start campaigning from Friday.
