Moradabad: BJP workers beat election official for allegedly asking voters to press 'cycle' symbol of Samajwadi Party | WATCH

The general election is currently being held in seven phases from 11 April to 19 May 2019 to constitute the 17th Lok Sabha.

During the third phase of polling for the Lok Sabha election 2019, on Tuesday, in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers beat an election official in the presence of cops.

The party workers alleged that he was asking voters to press the 'cycle' symbol of the Samajwadi Party. The incident happened at booth number 231.

The general election is currently being held in seven phases from 11 April to 19 May 2019 to constitute the 17th Lok Sabha. The counting of votes will be conducted on 23 May, and on the same day, the results will be declared.

Legislative Assembly elections in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha and Sikkim will be held simultaneously with the general election.
