Chhattisgarh Election Results 2018: Constituency-wise full list of winning candidates

The Congress on Tuesday registered a massive victory in Chhattisgarh and paved way for the grand old party to reclaim its lost territory from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). According to the Election Commission data recorded at 11 pm, the Rahul Gandhi-led party was ahead in 67 seats (Won:39, Leading:28) while the BJP was leading in 15 seats (Won:08, Leading: 07).

Majority of exit polls earlier had said Congress was likely to get enough seats to form a government in Chhattisgarh. Some however, predicted the BJP would retain the state.

Raman Singh has been dethroned by the Congress, which had been aiming to stage a comeback after being out of power for the last 15 years. While it acted as a boost for Rahul Gandhi's leadership, 'Brand Modi' and Modi-Shah's invincible image suffered a dent.
