A 96-year-old woman from the Kerala district, Alappuzha just cleared her reading test for class four equivalency exam under the Kerala Literacy Mission's Aksharalaksham scheme.

Karthyayini Amma, a resident of Alappuzha, Kerala district proved every person wrong who thinks that age is a barrier in pursuing dreams. She has now become a role model for many people in the country including Anand Mahindra who is a chairman of Mahindra Group.

Anand Mahindra got to know about this lady's achievement when a Twitter user tagged him in his post, "At 96, Kerala grandma faces her first exam, gets full score in reading test .....@anandmahindra"

As per The News Minute reported, “The nonagenarian was writing the 4th standard equivalency course under the Kerala Literacy Mission’s Aksharalaksham scheme. The woman scored full marks in her reading test conducted in the state in a step to eradicate illiteracy. She enrolled for this literacy mission in January this year.

But the photos of this elderly created a buzz on the internet when the businessman also took to Twitter praising the 96-year-old's achievement.

He wrote, "Now if this is true she is my role model. My brains will stay alive if I stay as hungry to learn as she is.”
