PM Modi wants your suggestion for Union Budget 2020. Here's what to do

Now you can be a part of Union Budget 2020. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked people to share their ideas and suggestions for the upcoming India Budget 2020, which will be presented in Parliament by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on February 1.

Now be a part of nation building by suggesting your ideas to the government on the upcoming Union Budget 2020 that is to be presented on February 1 by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. As the Union Budget represents the aspirations of 130 crore Indians, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sought suggestions and ideas from people asserting that the annual fiscal exercise will lay out the path towards the development of India. Taking on to Twitter, He wrote, "The Union Budget represents the aspirations of 130 crore Indians and lays out the path towards India’s development. I invite you all to share your ideas and suggestions for this year’s Budget on MyGov." 

MyGovIn too asked people to share valuable ideas for the farming sector, education and others. The prime minister often seeks suggestions from people on various issues. He had been seeking ideas for his Independence Day speech. People have also been giving suggestions to the prime minister for his monthly "Mann ki Baat" radio programme.

You can suggest your ideas for Union Budget 2020 on the central government’s MyGov web portal.

1. Click on the link mygov.in

2. Log in with your username and password

3. You can also log in with you facebook account

4. Give your valuable suggestions after the page featuring all the suggestions opens

In the meantime, thousands of users have already submitted their ideas about Union Budget 2020 after PM Modi appealed. 

"Sir spend more in education sector nearabout 8%. Simplify GST structure,increase GST collection, pay remnants to the state. Consult IMF chief Geeta Gopinath about Union budget and India economic slowdown. Reserve more on scientific research and development. Promote Tourism by making All India Tourism Center and use Air India for carrying passengers. Reduce rural unemployment, encourage class 10 students to chose different fields instead of medical and engineering," a user named Dipanjan Rout wrote. 

"Sir, the manner in which the Govt is putting a cap on most issues; I think that it is time for us to cap a cap on the number of cars/ motorcycles a household can own. The very fact that you are permitting new players is good, but it has to be in a controlled manner and to begin, ask people to do away with excess mobility vehicles. Small family, 1 car and 1 motorcycle/scooter. Joint family, 2 cars, one premium and one entry level with 1 scooter/ motorcycle. The Govt can decide on this," Deepak Kataria wrote. 

Along with PM Modi, the Finance Ministry led by FM Nirmala Sitharaman has also sought suggestions for Union Budget 2020 from common citizens.
