Top 5 dual SIM Android smartphones

New Delhi, Nov 12: Dual SIM phones have always been seen as low-end devices offering simultaneous connectivity to two cellular operators, but as times have changed even bigger brands have understood the potential of these

Samsung Galaxy S Duos (Rs 16,700)

The Samsung Galaxy S Duos is a cheaper, dual SIM look alike variant of the popular Galaxy SIII smartphone, which became popular across the globe. The Galaxy S Duos comes with a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM 7227A processor running Google's Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system on its big 4 inch display. Inspired by the design featured on the Samsung Galaxy SIII, the Galaxy S Duos looks good and sure enough is an object of desire. Its 4 inch LCD display comes with 480 x 800 pixel resolution while its 1 GHz processor and 768 MB RAM take care of applications. The smartphone utilises a slightly older but functional Adreno 200 graphics engine, which will be good enough for most tasks, but HD gaming is where the device would lag.

The phone comes with 4 GB onboard storage available to users while another 32 GB data can be added using a standard micro SDHC card. Imaging is handled by a 5 megapixel auto focus camera that is capable of recording VGA resolution videos only, although there is an LED flash for illumination in low light. In the front there is also a VGA camera for video calling.
