New Delhi: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) said on Tuesday that it has won a multi-million dollar multi-year contract from energy sector major GDF Suez to standardise customer relationship management (CRM) and billing applications across France,

This is the first landmark deal won by its new integrated entity emerging through its acquisition of Alti SA in July last year, it added.

TCS had also recently unveiled plans to further activate the capabilities and talent pool it had acquired by setting up a new TCS SAP Innovation Centre, the Mumbai-headquartered firm said.

The centre will seek to develop cutting edge enterprise solutions for multiple industries, in co-innovation with TCS' customers. It will be located in the Azle-de-France region and is expected to be operational later in 2014, it added.
